About the Role
Join our One Great Team at Haven as a Lifeguard, helping to create a safe and fun-filled swimming experience for guests! We’re looking for vigilant, responsible, and certified Lifeguards who will safeguard swimmers, ensuring they have an enjoyable and secure time in the water.
Ideal candidates will have sharp observation skills, the ability to respond swiftly in emergencies, and a friendly, approachable attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all guests.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and rescue when necessary.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of pool equipment and facilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pool area.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with inquiries and concerns.

Requirements
- Current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
- Proficient swimming skills.
- Excellent observation and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to maintain focus and act quickly in emergency situations.
- Friendly and approachable personality, with strong communication skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Note: This role requires successful completion of an Enhanced DBS check before starting.
