Full-time and part-time availability required to cover a mix of early/late shifts, including weekends.

### **About the Role**
At **Serco**, we’re partnering with **Leisure Solutions Community Trust** to recruit inspiring individuals as **Trainee Lifeguards**. This organisation promotes **active, healthy lifestyles** through affordable sports and leisure facilities. Their mission is to create a **safe, clean, and inclusive** environment—where you’ll play a vital role ensuring **pool safety** and enhancing community well-being.
To qualify, you must attend a **Lifeguard Training Course** from **June 6th–20th** (9am–6pm). **100% attendance is mandatory.**

### **Responsibilities**
- Provide **exceptional customer service**, managing interactions with diverse age groups.
- **Supervise pool activities**, ensuring high safety and cleanliness standards.
- **Mobilise pool equipment safely** and respond to emergency situations.
- **Demonstrate vigilance**, act decisively under pressure, and prioritise **life-saving**.

Requirements
No previous experience is needed, but you must: ✅ Complete a Swim Test demonstrating:
- Jump/dive into deep water
- 50m swim in <60s (2 pool lengths)
- 100m continuous front/back swim in deep water (8 lengths)
- Tread water for 30 seconds
- Surface dive to pool floor (≤2m depth)
- Climb out unaided without aid (if pool design permits)

- People-focused mindset
- At ease with confidentiality, emergencies, and diverse groups
