This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to develop skills in logistics, sales coordination and operations within the construction materials industry. This role will support the day-to-day coordination of customer orders, deliveries and site logistics, working closely with drivers, operational teams and customers to ensure materials are delivered safely, efficiently and on time. No prior experience is required – we’re looking for someone who is motivated, organised and willing to learn, and we’ll provide full training and support to help you develop in the role. What you’ll be doing: Supporting the coordination of daily customer orders and deliveries from the Thames Materials site Assisting with planning and scheduling vehicle movements to ensure efficient logistics operations Communicating with customers, drivers and site teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment Providing administrative support for sales orders, delivery tickets and operational records Assisting with customer enquiries and ensuring a high level of customer service Helping to monitor stock levels and support the wider team with operational planning Supporting compliance with health, safety and environmental standards across site operations Learning about the company’s products, systems and logistics processes as part of your development What we’re looking for: A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers and colleagues Good organisational skills and attention to detail Basic IT skills and willingness to learn company systems Ability to work as part of a team in a busy operational environment A proactive approach and enthusiasm for building a career in logistics, sales or operations We are committed to building a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
