Vines has an exciting opportunity to join the MINI Sales team as a Trainee Sales Executive. If you're passionate about people, enjoy building relationships, and are ready to kick-start your career in the automotive industry, we'd love to hear from you.
Previous sales experience isn't essential. What matters most is your enthusiasm, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. We'll provide the training and support you need – all you need to bring is the motivation to apply yourself, embrace new challenges, and deliver an exceptional experience for every customer.
You will benefit from a structured training and development programme designed to support your transition into automotive sales, with the aim of progressing to a fully established Sales Executive within your first year. Throughout this period, you will be provided with the tools, training, and ongoing support needed to help you succeed and reach your full potential.
Salary: £28,000 plus £100 per car sold whilst in your training period.
Key Responsibilities
- You’ll make sure that every customer feels unique by understanding exactly where and how a MINI fits into their life. It’s all about matching the person to the right car and ensuring they have the features and add-ons to suit. From financing to contracts, you’ll aim for total customer satisfaction right through the process.
- Managing relationships with your customers, including keeping in regular contact with them about our products always maintaining a customer-focused mindset.
- Prospecting new customers by telephone, looking after email contacts and walk-ins.
- Maintaining our state-of-the-art customer contact system with up-to-date and accurate records.
- Ensure product knowledge is kept up to date and relevant.
- Provide exceptional customer service which leads to customer loyalty and referrals.
- Operation of the full sales process from initial enquiry through to customer retention

As a business we are extremely passionate about progression and development so previous automotive sales experience would be an advantage, but not essential. You might come from a general sales, retail or customer service background, but have the drive to achieve and succeed.
