Trainee Optical Assistant

We aren’t looking for people with years of experience or vast qualifications—just passionate, hard-working individuals ready to confidently welcome and help customers as they walk through our doors.

As a Trainee Optical Assistant, you’ll gain hands-on experience and receive comprehensive professional training and development across various business areas. Our team of experienced Opticians and Technicians will support you every step of the way, helping you shape your future career.

Responsibilities

As a Trainee Optical Assistant, key day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming customers into the store and ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter.
  • Booking in eye tests, coordinating timing, and handling admissions.
  • Pre-screening patients and assisting with initial assessments.
  • Providing insightful and tailored style advice to help customers find their perfect frames.
  • Measuring and verifying frames to ensure a proper fit.
  • Managing phone inquiries, reservations, and follow-ups efficiently.
