Trainee Optical Assistant at Specsavers Opticians & Audiologists - Guildford

About the Role

As a Trainee Optical Assistant, you’ll help create an outstanding store environment for both customers and our team, ensuring that everyone receives top-tier care in our stores.

You don’t need prior experience—just a willing attitude to learn and support optical and audiology services.

About Our Store

Our Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists – Guildford branch is located in the heart of Guildford town centre and offers comprehensive eye and hearing care, including:

  • Comprehensive eye tests
  • Contact lens consultations
  • OCT scans
  • Children’s eye care
  • Hearing assessments

What’s on Offer?

Alongside great training and development, we provide:

Hourly Wage

£8.20 - £12.91 per hour (dependent on optical experience)

Working Hours (Weekends Only)

  • Saturdays: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Sundays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Fast-paced customer service (retail, hospitality, etc.)
  • Optics or audiology environments
  • Basic optical/audiology terminology
