We now have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Orthotic Technician to join our manufacturing team in Sheffield.

As Trainee Orthotic Technician, you will work within the Orthotic Department to ensure customer orders are processed effectively to satisfy the requirements of the clinician/patient.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • To maintain in-process product quality standards.
  • Interpret customer orders to manufacture Orthotic.
  • Maintain team performance against agreed targets in-line with department standard times and volumes.
  • To identify opportunities for process improvement to achieve increased productivity or reduced product cost within the business.
  • To maintain a safe working environment.
  • Opportunities to work across other departments where full training will be available.

Essential skills

  • Knowledge of the anatomy and terminology associated with the production of orthotic products.
  • Capable of working to drafts/casts and measures supplied by clinicians.
