Are you looking to start your career in law?

We're looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Trainee Paralegal / Office Administrator who is keen to learn, develop, and build a successful legal career. No previous legal experience is required; we're more interested in your attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to get stuck in.

Basic Salary:

Up to £25,000

Benefits:

  • A Fully funded CILEX Paralegal qualification
  • Advanced Paralegal training available for candidates who are already qualified
  • 22 days annual leave plus Christmas shut down (typically around 2 weeks)
  • 5% enhanced employer pension contribution

Are you looking for your first step into a career within law? We are looking for a Trainee Paralegal to join our small, but supportive, legal team where you will receive full training, ongoing development, and the opportunity to gain professional qualifications. Working closely with the fee earners, you will gain exposure to contract drafting, contract reviews, client communication, and legal research, whilst developing the skills needed for a successful career in law.

Key Responsibilities:

As Our Trainee Paralegal / Office Administrator, You Will:

  • Support fee earners with contract drafting and reviewing client documents
  • Prepare, amend, and finalise legal documentation
  • Review contracts, including JCT and other construction-related agreements
  • Attend client meetings, alongside fee earners, both virtually and in person, and prepare meeting notes
  • Carry out legal research and present findings to the wider team
  • Prepare quotations, client care letters, and supporting client communications
  • Manage your own workload, prioritise tasks, and use digital management systems
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing and answering calls when required

This is an open brief, and we welcome applications from individuals who may be leaving school or college, graduates, career changers, or those with some previous office experience who are looking to progress within the legal sector.

You do not need previous legal experience; the most important thing is your attitude, ambition, and willingness to learn. The successful candidate will be supported through their Paralegal qualification, with further progression opportunities available as your experience develops.
