Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Trainee Paraplanner. The Trainee Paraplanner will assist in researching financial products and solutions, supporting the preparation of suitability reports and documentation for advisers. Daily tasks include gathering and analysing client information, updating records, and ensuring all advice meets regulatory and compliance requirements. The role also involves drafting clear, accurate correspondence, liaising with advisers and other team members, and maintaining organised files and workflows. The position offers structured training and mentoring to develop technical knowledge and progress toward a fully qualified paraplanning role.

- Candidates should possess strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and identify suitable solutions.
- Candidates should possess excellent written communication skills, including report writing, document drafting, and attention to detail.
- Candidates should possess solid organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Candidates should possess good interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with advisers, support teams, and external providers professionally.
- Candidates should possess basic IT proficiency, including working with spreadsheets, word-processing tools, and financial planning software or CRM systems.
- Relevant education in finance, economics, business, or a related field is beneficial; progress toward or interest in professional financial planning qualifications (e.g., diploma-level) is an advantage.
- An understanding of financial services, regulations, and compliance requirements is desirable, along with a willingness to learn and develop within the paraplanning profession.
