Trainee Paraplanner
Nelson, Lancashire | Office Based | £28,000
Have you been looking for a way into Financial Planning but aren't sure where to start?
A well-established Financial Planning firm is looking to recruit a Trainee Paraplanner to join its technical team.
If you've never come across the role before, a Paraplanner works alongside Financial Advisers, carrying out research, analysing information, preparing recommendations and helping deliver high-quality financial advice to clients.
This is not a Trainee Financial Adviser position. The company is looking to develop someone into a professional Paraplanner who will become an integral part of the business over the long term.
The role would suit someone who enjoys analytical work, has excellent attention to detail and is looking for a genuine long-term career rather than simply another job.
The Role

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
