Trainee Product Industrialization Engineer

Trainee Product Industrialization Engineer (80872)

Location: Thirsk, UK

About the Role

We are inviting food engineering students and interns to join our team at the Thirsk site for a 6-month contract with the opportunity to renew thereafter.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, compile, and analyse necessary data for product industrialization.
  • Support the industrialization of new products.
  • Create and maintain new databases of manufacturing instructions.
  • Oversee hyper-care production on the shop floor.
  • Assist in process improvements, particularly for the industrial spray dryer.

What You Bring

  • A curious, analytical mindset for solving problems and driving innovation.
  • Comfort and technical familiarity with industrial equipment.
  • Strong communication skills—able to interact effectively across all levels, from shop floor workers to senior managers.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including VB macros.
  • A degree in Engineering, preferably in food science, chemistry, or a related discipline.
