We have a new opportunity for a Trainee Prosthetic Technician to join our Central Fabrication unit in Atlas Way, Sheffield.

As a Trainee Prosthetic Technician, you will learn to make, repair, and adjust a wide range of prosthetic products, each one specifically designed to meet the individual patient’s needs.

Key duties:

  • Manufacturing and modifying patients’ prostheses
  • Interpreting information supplied by the clinician
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

What are we looking for?

  • GCSE, or equivalent, in English and Maths
  • Previous experience of using hand tools
  • Practical and methodical
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Focused and flexible approach
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
