MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in sampling operation.
  • Recording of data into QC system.
  • Inspection of bananas and pineapples (when trained).
  • Working with other members of the QC team.

KEY SKILLS:

  • Good numerical skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Conscientious and committed with an eye for detail.
  • Computer literate, with a good working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and in a team environment.
  • The ideal candidate must be motivated, flexible and a good team player.

  • Full-Time Hours – 40 hours per week.
  • Hours of Work – 7.30am to 4.30pm from Monday to Friday.
  • Reporting to the Quality Manager UK.
  • The position will be based in Basingstoke, but some travel to other Fyffes locations within the UK will be required.
  • The role involves lifting heavy boxes up to 23kg.
  • Full training will be given.
  • Some degree of flexibility will be required in terms of shift times and hours of work, in order to meet the demands of the business.
  • This is a salaried, monthly paid position.
  • This position is offered on UK local Terms and Conditions.
  • This position is not eligible for relocation support.
  • Short-listed candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK and will need to meet such requirements before they commence employment.
