Kick-start your career in Real Estate Finance
Are you interested in real estate, investment banking and financial analysis? Do you want to work on complex, high-profile transactions while learning from experienced industry professionals?
We are looking for a motivated and analytical Trainee to join our Real Estate Structured Finance team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a Front Office environment, working on the origination, structuring, execution and monitoring of commercial real estate financing transactions.
From day one, you will be involved in live deals, supporting senior team members across a broad range of property sectors including offices, logistics, retail, hotels, residential portfolios and alternative real estate assets.
What You'll Do
As a member of the team, you will support the full transaction lifecycle, including:
- Analysing new financing opportunities and assessing transaction risks and merits.
- Building and reviewing financial models to evaluate real estate investments and financing structures.
- Conducting property, market and sponsor analysis.
- Preparing credit papers, investment memoranda and transaction presentations.
- Monitoring an existing portfolio of real estate loans and financing transactions.
- Undertaking market research and keeping abreast of trends across the UK and European real estate sectors.
- Supporting transaction execution, including reviewing due diligence, valuation reports and legal documentation.
- Working alongside clients, investors, lawyers, valuers and other market participants.

What we're looking for
We're interested in curious, motivated individuals with a genuine interest in finance and real estate.
You may be:
- A graduate.
- Completing a postgraduate qualification.
- Looking to build a career in investment banking, structured finance, real estate finance or credit.
Essential Skills
- Strong analytical and numerical ability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.
Desirable
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Previous internship or work experience in banking, finance, real estate or investment analysis.
- Exposure to financial modelling or valuation analysis.
What You'll Learn
