You don't have a recruitment background. Good, we'll build you the right way from the start, with no bad habits to unlearn.
Here's what you need to understand about this job before you read another word. Recruitment done well is one of the few careers where, with no degree required and no ceiling on effort, you can be earning serious money within two years. Not "good for your age" money. Real money. The catch is that most people aren't willing to do what it takes. We're only interested in the ones who are.
We're Growth. Five people, Manchester city centre, on track for a seven-figure year. We place talent into Seed–Series A AI infrastructure companies in San Francisco, the startups building the tools the rest of the AI industry runs on. It's the fastest-growing corner of the fastest-growing sector on earth, and we got here early.
WHAT THE FIRST YEAR LOOKS LIKE
You'll learn the craft properly. How to map a market, how to talk to founders in San Francisco, how to find candidates nobody else can, and how to run deals from first call to close. You'll be trained by people who are billing at the top of the market right now, not reading it out of a manual.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You'll be given your own niche to grow into, a defined slice of AI infrastructure that becomes yours. No fighting colleagues for the same clients. From the day you're ready, you build something with your name on it.
It is hard. The first few months are a steep climb and we won't pretend otherwise. But you'll never wonder what you're supposed to be doing, and you'll never be doing it alone.
WHO THRIVES HERE
We don't care what you studied or where. We care about hunger, how quickly you learn, and whether you keep going when something isn't working. If you've competed seriously in anything, whether in sport, sales, music, or a side hustle, you'll recognise the mentality we're after: obsess over getting better, outwork the room, and finish what you start.
You'll work US hours, because that's where our clients are. Later starts, later finishes, and a market that's wide awake when you call.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
A competitive starting base of £30,000 with no cap on what you can earn as you grow into your desk. Hit your quarterly target and you're at Lunch Club. Be the standout and you take Presidents Club. When you hit your stretch number, you bank a £5k bonus. And the last Friday of every month is a team social, no targets attached.
You'll work from 111 Piccadilly (3 days a week) in the middle of Manchester, in a business with a real plan to grow, including expansion into the US. Join as one of six, and you get something you'll never get at a big firm: a direct line to the founder, a genuine path to running your own desk, and eventually a team, as we scale.
WHY THIS, WHY NOW
Every AI company you've heard about this year is built on infrastructure, the models, the tooling, and the compute beneath. Those companies raised billions and cannot hire fast enough. That demand is why this is the best place to learn recruitment: you're not scrabbling for a market; the market is coming to us. Learn the craft here, in this sector, at this moment, and you'll be years ahead of those who started anywhere else.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
