Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Milk Education | Sheffield

£26,000 Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission Round-the-deck starts: Monday to Friday (7:15am during term time)

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Start as a 180 Recruitment Consultant, focusing on sourcing candidates, building relationships, and creating a strong network of education professionals.
  • Progress into a 360 Recruitment Consultant as you develop your skills, handling your own client base, acquiring new business, and growing your own desk.

Recruitment is sales, and you’ll need to be confident, resilient, and proactive. If you enjoy starting conversations, building relationships from zero, and working towards targets, this role is for you.

You’ll receive comprehensive training, tools, and support to succeed.


Daily Responsibilities

  • Sourcing candidates for Primary, Secondary, and SEN roles.
  • Screening and interviewing candidates.
  • Building relationships with education professionals.
  • Handling recruitment enquiries via phone and email.
  • Initiating calls to schools to introduce new opportunities.
  • Working towards KPIs and personal targets.
  • Maintaining up-to-date records in CRM systems.
  • Contributing creative ideas to support team success.
