About the Role
We are seeking a Trainee Sales Associate to work alongside the International Sales team, focusing on building and maintaining client relationships across EMEA and APAC markets. This 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) role offers an excellent opportunity for those looking to launch a career in asset management, blending client relationship management, sales support, and market insight.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the International Sales team in managing client relationships across EMEA and APAC, including developing contact lists and identifying new opportunities
- Assist with client servicing and enquiries, ensuring timely, professional responses
- Maintain accurate records of sales and marketing activities using internal systems
- Act as a bridge between Sales and internal teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Investment Specialists) to support sales initiatives
- Help create sales materials and client communications
- Support the planning and delivery of client events (e.g., invitations, logistics, follow-ups)
- Build strong internal relationships and contribute to team meetings and sales activities
- Develop knowledge of Aegon Asset Management products and investment markets
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adopt a client-first approach in all activities
Requirements & Attributes

- A strong interest in financial services and investment markets
- A desire to build technical knowledge of investment funds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- The ability to build relationships—both internally and externally
- Self-motivation, proactivity, and adaptability—working both independently and as part of a team
