Are you a high-achieving Trainee Science Teacher with aspirations to become a qualified teacher? This is an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Science Teacher specialising in Biology or Chemistry to begin a structured, salaried route into teaching within a supportive and high-performing secondary school in Harrow.
From September 2026, the school is seeking a Trainee Science Teacher who can inspire students across KS4 and A-Level, while developing into a confident, qualified classroom practitioner as a Trainee Science Teacher progressing through a clear training pathway.
This role is ideal for a Science graduate with strong academic achievement looking to progress into teacher training and gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) as a Trainee Science Teacher.

Key Details
- Trainee Science Teacher
- Full-Time, Permanent position
- Salary: £28,000 minimum per year (training route)
- Salary increases to £37,870 upon achieving QTS
- Specialising in Biology or Chemistry
- Bonus if A or A* achieved in two Science subjects (Biology/Chemistry/Physics)
- Must hold a strong Science degree (2:1 or above, Russell Group desirable)
- Teaching KS4 and A-Level Science (Biology and/or Chemistry focus)
- Clear progression into salaried teacher training and QTS
