Trainee Senior Care Assistant – 6-Month Development Programme
From Care Assistant to Care Leader—Your Journey Starts Here!
Nestled in the peaceful village of Benderloch, near Oban, Etive House Care Home is a warm, values-led community caring for up to 62 residents across small group living households.

What We Offer
- Competitive pay: £14.60 per hour (rising to £15.10 after the 6-month programme)
- Flexible hours: 22–44 hours per week available (including days and nights)

Key Responsibilities
You’ll take on a exciting role where compassion and teamwork are central:
- Lead with Compassion: Role-model exceptional care, aligning with our values and standards to support residents and your team.
- Promote Person-Centred Care: Help plan and deliver individualised care with dignity, empathy, and warmth.
- Develop & Inspire: Learn how to mentor, guide, and support colleagues as you progress into a senior role.
- Be a Team Anchor: Collaborate closely with Nurses and the Clinical Deputy Manager to ensure safety, wellbeing, and high-quality care.
- Create Community: Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues—turning Etive House into a place that feels like home.
