Trainee Systems Reporting and UI Developer

Technical Analyst – Reporting/Data (Entry-Level)

As one of the world's largest networks of audit, tax, and consulting firms, RSM delivers innovative solutions to empower middle-market businesses. With a bold vision to become the premium adviser for the global middle market, we foster a culture of growth, collaboration, and purpose. If you’re passionate about launching a long-term career in technology, reporting, and data analysis, this role will set you up for success in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Overall Job Purpose

This is an entry-level position designed to develop your expertise in system reporting, data modelling, and UI development, primarily within Workday-based enterprise platforms. You’ll thrive in a guided learning environment through hands-on projects, mentorship, and structured training.

As part of a collaborative team, you’ll gain practical experience supporting Prism-Data Warehouse, reporting tools, discovery boards, and dashboards, while partnering with internal stakeholders across Finance, People, Technology, and Change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the creation of reports, dashboards, and UI solutions across enterprise systems.
  • Assist senior team members in translating business requirements into actionable reporting outputs.
  • Build foundational knowledge of data modelling, reporting logic, and user experience (UX) design.
  • Participate in agile delivery, including sprint ceremonies, demo presentations, and feedback loops.
  • Contribute to testing, validation, and documentation of reporting deliverables.
  • Assist with system upgrades, regression testing, and process enhancements.
  • Develop understanding of governance, cybersecurity, and access controls.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
