Trainee Talent Acquisition Specialist 100% Remote

Job Title: Trainee Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Remote

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 basic salary per annum + uncapped performance bonus (Year 1 OTE: £32,000 - £38,000)

We are expanding our Talent Acquisition team and looking for an ambitious, output-driven Trainee Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us on a 100% remote basis. No prior recruitment experience is required.

We offer a comprehensive internal training program to set you up for success.

What You'll Do

As a Trainee Specialist, you will work closely with senior recruiters to source, screen, and manage candidates across various sectors:

  • Learn & Master Sourcing: Receive hands-on training on how to use tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and boolean search techniques to find top-tier candidates.
  • Review Applications: Review candidate applications against job specs and maintain a rapid turnaround time.
  • Candidate Screening: Conduct initial telephone and video interviews to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Pipeline Management: Build active networks of pre-qualified candidates for recurring and niche roles.
  • Data & Systems: Keep our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) clean, organized, and up to date.

What We Are Looking For

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English skills you love talking to people and building rapport.
  • Drive & Curiosity: Highly motivated to learn new industries, talent tools, and recruitment strategies.
  • Organization: Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple candidate pipelines concurrently.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable learning ATS platforms, video interview software, and sourcing channels.
  • Location: Remote
