Salary

GBP23,000 + Fully Funded ABA Training + GBP1000 Welcome Bonus

Experience

Minimum 6-12 months of verifiable experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is strictly essential.

Logistics

A full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle is strictly essential due to the school's rural Surrey location. Public transport is not viable.

About the Role and School

An established specialist SEN school in Cranleigh, Surrey, is seeking a dedicated Trainee Teacher to join a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team. We provide high-quality education to children with complex communication and behavioural needs using evidence-based Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) techniques.

This role offers a structured professional pathway. You will work under the direct mentorship of experienced Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs) and senior educational professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualised, 1:1, and small-group lessons tailored to the specific behavioural and educational goals of each student.
  • Implement data-driven ABA protocols to support communication and reduce challenging behaviours.
  • Collaborate daily with therapists, speech and language specialists, and teaching assistants.
  • Maintain precise data tracking and progress reports for clinical and educational review.
