Trainee Operations Technician

Location: Farnborough HQ Salary: £27,000 Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent

About Tecna UK

At Tecna UK, we're all about turning ideas into exceptional experiences. We create more than just stunning displays - we deliver world-class service, ensuring every project is flawlessly executed from concept to completion. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a hands-on, eager-to-learn Trainee Operations Technician to join our Operations Team at our Farnborough HQ.

The Role

This is no ordinary entry-level position. Over the course of a structured 12-month training programme, you'll build a solid grounding across every area of our operations - from warehouse and production through to on-site stand installation. Once trained, you'll be a genuinely flexible member of the team, deployed where the business needs you most: jumping onto a large beam-cutting run, supporting a pre-build in the warehouse, or heading out to install a stand on-site.

If you love variety, take pride in your work, and want to develop a broad set of practical skills in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
