Qualified Vehicle Tyre Fitter – Mobile Role
Compensation & Working Conditions
- Salary: £24,824.80 - £29,500 per annum
- Bonus Scheme: Uncapped (includes overtime & call-out rates)
- Mobility Support: Van, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE) provided
- Hours: Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00, Saturday 08:00–12:00
About the Role
Are you eager to launch or advance your career in the automotive industry? Halfords Commercial Fleet Services (HCFS) — the UK’s largest Commercial Vehicle Tyre service provider — is looking for motivated candidates to join our team as Vehicle Tyre Fitters!
You’ll complete a structured 6–12 month Technician training programme, gaining hands-on experience under experienced mentors and Halfords’ in-house Training Team. Key responsibilities include:

- Fitting and repairing tyres for cars, vans, trucks, agricultural, industrial, and earthmover vehicles
- Ensuring a strong customer service focus in all interactions
- Working flexibly, including overtime, to meet customer demands
HCFS delivers nationwide coverage through expansions like Lodge, McConechys, and Universal, embedded within the Halfords Group.

Requirements
- Genuine passion for automotive/in sicuro willing to earn qualifications
- Exceptional customer service skills (essential for fleet/logistics relationships)
- Flexibility and availability for overtime
- Full, valid driving licence (required for vehicle mobility)
