Trainee Warehouse Operative

Albert Bartlett is a well-established brand in the potato industry since 1948, known for our commitment to quality and sustainability. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Trainee Warehouse Operatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to start a career in warehousing and logistics. As a Trainee Warehouse Operative, you will receive hands-on training and support as you learn the ins and outs of warehouse operations within a dynamic environment.

Your role will be vital in helping us manage the efficient flow of products and materials throughout our facility while maintaining the high standards that Albert Bartlett is known for.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the receiving, sorting, and organizing of incoming goods and materials
  • Participate in training to operate warehouse equipment and machinery safely
  • Support inventory management by maintaining accurate stock levels and helping during stock counts
  • Keep the warehouse area clean and organized, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely production processes
  • Engage in ongoing training to develop skills and knowledge relevant to warehouse operations

Requirements

  • No previous experience required; a willingness to learn and adapt is essential
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety practices
  • Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving products
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts as needed
