Job Opportunity: Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer
Due to business growth, we’re seeking a Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer to join our team in the Watford area.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ACoP L8 HSG274 part 2 compliance-related work
- Perform TMV (Tempering and Mixing Valve) fail-safe testing, calibration, and servicing
- Flushing & testing of expansion vessels
- Conduct showerhead cleaning and disinfection
- Provide cleaning & disinfection support (2nd man role)
- Carry out annual tank inspections & cleaning
Required Skills & Qualities
- Ability to build effective relationships with on-site clients
- Strong organisation and timekeeping skills, able to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills – most notably, clear and confident
- Emphasis on standards, systems, procedures, and process focus
- Self-motivated with initiative, a desire to learn and achieve
- A full valid driving licence
- Willingness to travel regionally with occasional overnight stays required
- A DBS check will be conducted as part of the onboarding process
