£26,500 to £27,000 - Salary reviewed once signed off training

Permanent, Full-time | 40 hours per week, Mon to Fri | Company van provided - private use optional | Tools & Training Provided

Kickstart a New Career in Appliance Repair

Whether you're starting fresh or changing careers, we'll provide full City & Guilds Assured training at our training centre in the north east of England and pair you with a dedicated mentor to help you become a fully qualified White Goods Engineer - Field Based. No experience in white goods repair necessary, but we are looking for candidates with previous hands-on mechanical or electrical experience and using tools. What You Will Do

As a Trainee White Goods Engineer - Field Based, your role will involve:

  • Learning to repair and maintain household appliances including washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and electric cookers
  • Visiting customers' homes to diagnose issues and carry out repairs safely and efficiently
  • Building on your mechanical/electrical experience to troubleshoot and solve problems on-site
  • Recording and managing job details using our in-house engineer software
  • Following guidance from your mentor while building your skills and confidence
  • Providing excellent customer service, explaining repairs clearly and professionally
  • Continuously developing your technical skills through structured training and on-the-job experience
