Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality and excited to build a specialist career in wine service.

You Will Ideally Have

  • Have a genuine passion for wine, food and delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Have a positive attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a proactive approach and the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Have a commitment to providing outstanding customer service in a luxury hospitality environment

Having previous hospitality experience would be an advantage but is not essential. We're far more interested in your enthusiasm, attitude and desire to learn than your existing wine knowledge. Having existing wine qualifications, such as WSET Level 2, would also be advantageous but are not required.

Your career development

We are committed to investing in your future.

Following the successful completion of your probationary period, you will become eligible to begin our structured wine development programme. This includes fully funded WSET Level 2 and WSET Level 3 qualifications, supported by mentoring from our experienced wine professionals and a clear development plan to help you progress within the business.

Please note: The funded WSET qualifications form part of your long-term development pathway and will only commence once your probationary period has been successfully completed.
