Trainee Coffee Equipment Technician
At Coffee Tech UK, we're looking for a Trainee Coffee Equipment Technician to join our growing team. You don't need previous experience working on coffee machines—we'll teach you everything you need to know.
Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll receive hands-on training while learning to install, service and repair premium commercial coffee equipment used by cafés, restaurants, hotels and coffee roasteries across the UK.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting experienced technicians with the installation, servicing and repair of commercial espresso machines, coffee grinders and hot water boilers.
- Learning how to diagnose faults and carry out repairs safely and efficiently.
- Refurbishing coffee machines in our workshop ready for installation or resale.
- Carrying out certified boiler inspections (full training provided).
- Delivering outstanding customer service on every visit.
- Learning how to manage van stock, parts and job administration.
- Maintaining a clean, organised company vehicle and travelling safely between customer sites.
- Developing the confidence to work independently as your training progresses.

What we're looking for
- A full UK driving licence.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good practical, mechanical or technical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to solve problems and think logically.
- Someone who enjoys working independently while being part of a supportive team.
- A genuine interest in engineering, coffee or both.
Previous experience isn't essential. Applicants from engineering, automotive, electrical, maintenance, hospitality, military or similar practical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
What you'll receive
- Full in-house and manufacturer training.
- Working hours Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700 (Optional weekend paid overtime).
