Trainer – Education and Care
Job Location: Tiverton, Devon Salary: £36,054.72 per annum (based on 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year) Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
Core Role
- Collaborate within the in-house training team to design and deliver inclusive, engaging sessions on critical topics such as:
- PRICE (Physical Intervention Reduction)
- Safeguarding
- Professional Boundaries
- Medication
- Other relevant subjects
- Ensure training content is practical, relevant, and highly professional.
- Continuously evaluate and improve training delivery using feedback, observations, and learning frameworks to maintain a consistently high standard.
- Work closely with the Learning & Training Manager to develop and align training programmes with organisational goals and team needs.
Supporting Responsibilities
- Deliver inclusive, engaging, and impactful training consistently.
- Provide flexible support to People Services and Operational teams, including:
- Coordinating training logistics
- Liaising with providers
- Maintaining up-to-date training records.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience delivering in-house training within the Care and/or Education sector, with specialist knowledge (e.g., PRICE).
- A recognised training qualification (e.g., PRICE Train the Trainer).
- Strong ability to evaluate training impact, using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement and enhance learning outcomes.
- Knowledge in equality, diversity, health & safety, wellbeing, and risk assessment, with a clear commitment to inclusive practice.
- Exceptional communication skills, including confident presentation talents, strong IT and organisational abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and approachable, with a passion for high-quality service delivery.
- A full driving licence, willingness to travel, and preparedness for overnight stays when required.
