Pay Rate: £34,000

Grade: O

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Fixed shifts with Flexibility 06:00am till 14:00

Location: Stanford Le Hope

We're now looking for a Trainer

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

  • Delivering engaging training sessions to new and existing colleagues across the warehouse operation.
  • Conducting training in line with current legislation, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
  • Designing, implementing and delivering operational training programmes, including equipment and process training.
  • Supporting the onboarding and induction of new starters, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to perform their roles safely and effectively.
  • Delivering mandatory, compliance and refresher training across the site.
  • Assessing training effectiveness and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining accurate training records and ensuring all colleagues remain compliant with required certifications and standards.
  • Coaching and supporting colleagues on best practices, safe working procedures and operational excellence.
  • Remaining fully conversant with company rules, regulations, procedures and policies, reporting any breaches where appropriate.
  • Acting as a role model by displaying a professional image and promoting a positive learning culture.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

  • Have previous experience within a warehouse, logistics or supply chain environment.
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence colleagues at all levels.
  • Are passionate about developing others and helping colleagues achieve their full potential.
  • Have strong organisational skills and can manage multiple training priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying training needs and driving continuous improvement.
  • Have good IT literacy, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
  • Previous experience delivering training within an operational environment (preferred)
  • Hold a recognised Train the Trainer qualification or training certification (essential).
  • Have experience delivering MHE training, warehouse systems training or operational process training (desirable).
  • Have a good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a warehouse environment
