Trainer Assessor – Automotive Glass Repair & Replacement (Regional Role)

About the Role

National Windscreens is the UK’s largest independent automotive glass repair and replacement specialist, operating across more than 100 fitting centres and over 800 mobile technicians nationwide. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality training and assessments, with a focus on NVQ qualifications (Level 3 Certificates in Assessing Vocational Achievement)
  • Work closely with the Regional Director, Branch Managers, and stakeholders to tailor training needs and drive local improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with windscreen technology and emerging industry trends
  • Conduct technician assessments, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate training records
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance operational effectiveness across your region

Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate:

✅ Holds a recognised NVQ Assessor qualification (e.g., Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement) or a equivalent training assessment qualification ✅ Has relevant industry experience in automotive glass repair and NVQ assessments ✅ Is computer literate, well-organised, and able to balance multiple priorities ✅ Demonstrates excellent communication skills (verbal + written) for feedback and collaboration ✅ Remains adaptable to changes in training methodologies and compliance standards ✅ Proficient in IT systems and software for assessment record-keeping ✅ Operates as a team player, embodying Carry Group UK’s values and fostering a positive work environment ✅ Acts as a role model for our company’s valour, integrity, and customer-centric culture
