Talented people are the key to our success.

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure delivers some of the UK’s most complex and critical infrastructure projects across six core sectors. As part of Morgan Sindall Group plc, we combine innovation, collaboration, and expertise to create infrastructure that connects people, places, and communities.

We are looking for a Trainer (Protecting People) to join our team supporting the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) Construction Capability Framework (CCF).

This is an exciting opportunity to help drive and embed a positive safety culture across a high-profile infrastructure framework. Reporting to the Head of SHEQS, you will lead the delivery of engaging training programmes, manage the Positive Intervention process, and support initiatives that promote safety, wellbeing, and workforce engagement across both our teams and supply chain partners.

This role would suit an enthusiastic and people-focused individual with a passion for training, health and safety, and continuous improvement, who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and progressive organisation.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver internal SHEQS training programmes to employees and supply chain partners, promoting exacting standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Take ownership of the Positive Intervention process, ensuring interventions are recorded, reviewed, and acted upon effectively.
  • Provide feedback and support to personnel on issues raised through the Positive Intervention process, helping to drive continuous improvement and behavioural safety.
  • Promote a positive, initiative-taking safety culture across the framework through engagement, coaching, and awareness initiatives.
  • Support the development and implementation of behaviour-based safety campaigns and workforce engagement activities.
  • Consult with project teams and stakeholders to identify training requirements and ensure training objectives are met.
  • Maintain accurate training records and monitor competency requirements across the framework.
  • Produce reports and management information relating to training, workforce engagement, and Positive Interventions.
  • Support mental health and wellbeing initiatives, including engagement with external support organisations and internal wellbeing networks.
  • Assist the wider SHEQS team in the delivery of business objectives and continuous improvement activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
