Henderson Technology is the creator of EDGEPoS, a multi-award-winning EPOS software system, offering cutting-edge functionality for retailers.
A look into the role
The Technology Trainer will provide virtual and on-site training across the UK, Channel Islands, Scotland, Wales, and beyond for Henderson Technology’s systems.
You will collaborate with installation teams to ensure seamless EDGEPoS system implementation while ensuring customers leverage all available features. Key responsibilities include:
- On-site training on Henderson Technology systems
- Hosting virtual and classroom-based training sessions on retail system functionality
- Supporting installation teams to deliver smooth EDGEPoS rollouts
- Gathering feedback from customers to identify business needs and improvement opportunities
- Ensuring full customer satisfaction and issue resolution

Skills for Success
Minimum Requirements
You’ll need:
- GCSEs in Maths & English (Grade C or equivalent)
- Experience in presenting, teaching, or delivering training (individuals or groups)
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Full UK/EU driving license (with access to your own vehicle)
- Flexibility to travel and drive throughout the UK (Scotland, Wales, Channel Islands, etc.) as required
Essential Attributes
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to use initiative and think analytically
- Strong organisational skills
- Capacity to meet deadlines
Desirable Experience
Additional strengths include:
- 3rd-level qualification in IT, Business Management, or a related discipline
- Practical experience in store operations and procedures
- Familiarity with the Henderson Technology product suite
- Experience with EDGEPoS retail systems

This is a full-time position (working Monday to Friday, though occasional overtime and weekend work may be required). You’ll function in a hybrid format, with significant field-based travel (expenses reimbursed, hire cars available for inter-Island/UK travel).
