As a Training Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our operational teams by ensuring the effective administration, coordination, and maintenance of training activities across the sites. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate training records, managing training systems, and supporting compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.

Working closely with managers and colleagues across the business, you will help ensure that employees have access to the training and development opportunities they need to perform safely, efficiently, and effectively in their roles. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to continuous improvement will be key to supporting both individual development and overall business performance.

Key Job Accountabilities

Training Database & Record Management

  • Add and update details for new starters, leavers, and colleagues transferring between departments & sites in the training database.
  • Maintain accurate and current training records for all colleagues across both sites.
  • Perform regular database maintenance to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Training Administration

  • Coordinate and administer site-wide and company-wide training programs, including scheduling, tracking, and completion monitoring.
  • Manage online learning systems such as vital skills and other external & internal platforms.
  • Retrieve and record safety Dojo certificates to ensure compliance with safety standards and audits.
  • Support onboarding by ensuring new colleagues are assigned to the correct mandatory & compliance training modules.
  • A good understanding of MS Excel and Access would be advantageous.
  • Run monthly meetings with heads of departments and trainers to discuss all things to do with training / records.
  • Engage with department trainers to ensure that records, training manuals, and skills matrix are kept up to date.
  • Research new external training sources when HSE/other departments have special requirements.
