Training Advisor (18-Month Fixed Term Contract – Maternity Cover)

Gaucho | Manchester / Liverpool Area, United Kingdom (On-site)

We are excited to be searching for a Training Advisor to join the People Team at GAUCHO Restaurants on an 18-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, passionate and people-focused individual to support the delivery of our industry-renowned training programmes across our regional restaurants.

As a Training Advisor, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional onboarding experience for new starters, coordinating Academy training programmes, maintaining our learning platforms and supporting the development of our restaurant teams. Working closely with the Learning & Development Manager, Academy Trainers and restaurant leadership teams, you’ll help ensure every team member receives the very best start to their GAUCHO journey. This role involves regular travel across our UK restaurants, including overnight stays, so we're looking for someone who enjoys working on the road and supporting multiple sites.

Salary: £38,500.00 per annum plus benefits

  • Coordinate the day-to-day administration of the Regional Academy, including the Academy Journal, training calendar and course bookings.
  • Support the delivery of GAUCHO Academy training programmes, ensuring sessions are organised efficiently and run seamlessly.
  • Manage and support Academy Trainers to deliver Academy programmes.
  • Ensure all new starters complete mandatory Health & Safety training and receive a first-class induction.
  • Support the Learning & Development team with training delivery for new restaurant openings.
  • Prepare, maintain and update Academy training materials to reflect current menus, allergens and operational standards.
  • Manage and maintain the Learning Management System, ensuring training records and content remain accurate and up to date.
  • Build strong relationships with restaurant leadership teams to ensure consistent training delivery and provide support during site visits.

The Successful Candidate

  • Experience in hospitality training, learning & development, or restaurant operations.
  • Highly organised with excellent administration and time management skills.
  • Experience using and maintaining Learning Management Systems.
  • Confident delivering training and presenting to groups.
  • Passionate about developing people and creating engaging learning experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Proactive, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Happy to travel extensively across the UK, including overnight stays.
