Purpose of the Role:
The Training & Change Specialist will be the human engine behind new processes, systems, and ways of working being successfully adopted across McLaren Racing as we upgrade our ERP systems. This role supports teams through change, delivering training, documentation, and communication that enable smooth transitions and long-term behavioural shifts.
This role will support the team and project by identifying areas of change in technology adoption and processes, and providing a framework for the ERP project to inform and train team members and maintain both positivity and momentum on the project.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Partner with business leads to understand the impact of process changes and design targeted change interventions.
- Collaborate across teams to stakeholder map and identify knowledge gaps and impact on existing processes. Provide input to suitable communications to help close these gaps and engage stakeholders appropriately.
- Develop and deliver training materials, modules, and documentation.
- Support teams in adopting new processes and identifying blockers.
- Facilitate workshops, drop-ins, and 1-1 training sessions.
- Proactive clear communication plans to support change initiatives.
- Identify different requirements across the business (including outside of finance) to design and implement appropriate information delivery, that minimized the information gaps across teams, supporting the adoption process of new process, systems, and terminology.
- Monitor adoption and identify areas requiring additional support.
- Ensure training aligns with governance, controls, and process standards.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Experience delivering training or change management in a business or ERP context.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to translate complex processes into simple, accessible materials.
- Experience supporting process or system change programmes.
- Data driven, able to track and report on adoption and effectiveness metrics.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, and/or systems implementation projects beneficial.

McLaren Racing is based at the iconic McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) near Woking. Here at McLaren, we offer hybrid working with 3 days a week based in the MTC.

The MTC is connected to Woking mainline station via regular shuttle buses, from which London Waterloo is a 30-minute train ride.
