About the Role
Nottinghamshire County Council invites passionate individuals to join their Training Academy at the Customer Service Centre as a Training and Development Officer. This role offers a brilliant opportunity for an experienced professional to enhance the skills, confidence, and performance of staff while contributing to long-term workforce growth.
You will collaborate closely with the Training and Development Manager to design, develop, and deliver exceptional training initiatives that support outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop dynamic training strategies tied to operational priorities.
- Identify and assess training needs for new and existing staff.
- Design and facilitate engaging, high-quality training sessions.
- Support career pathway development to improve staff retention and satisfaction.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning within the Customer Service Centre.
Essential Requirements
✅ A degree or equivalent in a relevant field (Education, HR, Training, or related discipline). ✅ Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development. ✅ Strong knowledge of workforce development principles. ✅ Familiarity with Nottinghamshire County Council’s policies and procedures. ✅ Excellent ICT literacy to manage training materials effectively.
