Are you passionate about empowering others? Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a Training and Development Officer to join our vibrant Training Academy at the Customer Service Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to enhance the skills, confidence, and performance of our dedicated colleagues. You will collaborate closely with the Training and Development Manager to design and deliver exceptional training that supports outstanding customer service and long-term workforce growth. About the Role

As a Training and Development Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing Dynamic Strategies: Create and implement training strategies that align with operational priorities.
  • Identifying Learning Needs: Assess the training needs of new and existing staff to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Delivering Engaging Training: Design and facilitate high-quality training sessions that inspire and motivate.
  • Supporting Career Pathways: Assist in developing clear career pathways to enhance staff retention and satisfaction.
  • Promoting Continuous Learning: Foster a culture of ongoing development within the Customer Service Centre.

  • A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Knowledge of workforce development principles and practices.

  • Strong ICT literacy to manage training resources effectively.
