Join us in making a difference! We are seeking a passionate Training and Development Officer to strengthen our vibrant Training Academy at the Customer Service Centre.

This exciting opportunity allows an experienced professional to:

  • Enhance skills, confidence, and performance of our colleagues
  • Collaborate closely with the Training and Development Manager
  • Design and deliver exceptional training aligned with customer service excellence and workforce growth

Key Responsibilities

As a Training and Development Officer, your role will include:

  • Developing dynamic training strategies to align with operational priorities
  • Identifying and assessing training needs for both new and existing staff
  • Designing and delivering engaging training sessions to inspire and motivate teams
  • Supporting career pathways to improve staff retention and satisfaction
  • Promoting a culture of continuous learning within the Centre

Core Requirements

You should hold:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • Knowledge of workforce development principles and practices
  • Familiarity with Nottinghamshire County Council’s policies and procedures
  • Strong ICT literacy to manage all training resources effectively
