Join our vibrant Training Academy at the Customer Service Centre as a Training and Development Officer.
This is an opportunity for an experienced professional to empower colleagues by enhancing their skills, confidence, and performance. You will work closely with the Training and Development Manager to design and deliver training that aligns with operational priorities, supporting outstanding customer service and long-term workforce growth.
Responsibilities
As a Training and Development Officer, your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing dynamic strategies to create and implement training programmes that align with operational priorities
- Assessing and identifying learning needs of both new and existing staff, ensuring training remains relevant and effective
- Designing and facilitating engaging training sessions that inspire, motivate, and enhance performance
- Assisting in developing clear career pathways to improve staff retention and satisfaction
- Promoting and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the Customer Service Centre

Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Knowledge of workforce development principles and practices
- Familiarity with Nottinghamshire County Council’s policies and procedures
- Strong ICT literacy to effectively manage training resources
