Pay Rate: £35,000 - £37,080

Grade: M

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday - Friday dayshifts - however some flexibility required due to business needs

Location: Heathrow - TW6 3AE

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an airport. You will be required to undergo a security/background check if you are to be successful for this position.

We're now looking for a Training & Resourcing Manager to play an integral role at the heart of our operations, ensuring that every flight is a success.

A Typical Day May Involve

  • To take overall accountability for the training schedule for the baggage contract, keeping up to date with technical, mandatory and refresher training for all colleagues.
  • Work in partnership with planning (Agency), operational departments and the central resourcing team to ensure recruitment numbers are met in addition to playing a key part in their onboarding process.
  • Identify, develop and design training interactions which contribute to the business, and to comply with any industry standards, legislation mandatory requirements.
  • To be fully conversant with and comply with all current company rules, regulations, procedures, processes and policies, reporting any breaches.

This Role Would Suit People Who

  • Hold a valid UK driving license - manual - Essential
  • Aviation - baggage operation experience - Essential
  • The confidence to engage with the customer and senior management leaders
  • Strong ownership mentality, with the ability to oversee and optimize operations independently
  • The ability to communicate openly and empathetically with managers in a well established team
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, problem solving with excellent interpersonal and communication skill

Security Process to Work Within Aviation and Travel at DHL

To obtain a full airside ID, you must:

  • Be able to provide five years' UK address history
  • Be able to provide five years' reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
  • Pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
