£25k - £27k Depending On Qualifications And Experience
Do you have your assessor qualification or equivalent and would like to support learners with Level 1 and 2 qualifications? My client will help you upskill if you come from other sectors including health and social care/customer service/manufacturing etc?
Based in Bridgend at HMP Parc 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday (No Friday working)
Permanent 4 days a week plus great benefits including birthday off after first year of service plus 4 loyalty days after 5 years of service, free parking and regular training and development.
Our training provider delivers high quality training and assessments to meet contractual requirements, awarding body standards and in-line with policies and procedures. You will join a brilliant team where you will be given full support throughout.
Are you a qualified Assessor? It's desirable to have PMO experience but full training will be given to the successful candidate.

Your role as PMO Training Assessor will be to deliver a high-quality vocational competency based curriculum up to a Level 2 utilising awarding body standards/criteria, fully understanding the standards for the awards being delivered and assessed. There may be some warehouse and storage / recycling delivery expected too.
- Ensure that all learner records are accurate and maintained in line with policies and procedures, GDPR and contractual requirements.
- Ensuring a full caseload of learners (in line with contract) is maintained at all times with the generating of starts through excellent communication skills and relationship building with learners and prison staff. You will help overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners needs.
- Ensure all learners complete timely in line with our clients delivery model and programme specification.
- Your role will include monitoring learner attendance and progress through regular learner assessment and reviews. Ensuring all completed portfolios are submitted for IQA within 5 days of learner completion.

To apply for the role of Training Assessor we need you to hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA, and experience of managing a caseload of at least 30 learners (per quarter). A good level of IT skills. Flexibility to work at multiple locations. Full, current driving licence and use of a vehicle, which is insured for business use.
