Main duties of the job

Do you have excellent communication and administrative skills along with a passion for training and development? Then this could be the role for you.

We are seeking a highly organised training coordinator to join the UEL, a subsidiary of University Hospital Southampton. UEL plays a critical role in supporting the hospital, and our teams provide a diverse range of services including capital project delivery, estates maintenance, compliance and business, and a whole host of soft facilities management including waste, linen and sustainability.

Reporting to the Training and Development manager, the post holder will plan and organise arrangements for a wide range of statutory and technical training for the department to ensure staff are both compliant and competent to perform their role. As well as organisation, the postholder will deliver training where appropriate and will also support staff with their wider personal development.

We are looking for someone with high attention to detail who is able to work autonomously whilst knowing when to ask for help when necessary. The post holder will develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to become a trusted and invaluable member of a busy and varied team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
