Training, Compliance & Safety Officer - Hatchery, Ower (Hampshire)
Salary: Up to £36,000 DOE + £2,204.28 Saturday allowance
Hours: 40 hours/week
- Mon 06.00 - 15:30 (9hrs)
- Tues 06.00 - 15:30 (9hrs)
- Wed 06:00 - 10:00 (4hrs)
- Fri 06.00 - 15:30 (9hrs)
- Sat 06.00 - 15:30 (9hrs)

Your Role
We’re looking for a proactive and safety-focused Training, Compliance & Safety Officer to join our Agriculture team at the Ower Hatchery. You'll play a key role in ensuring site compliance with health & safety and training standards, supporting audits, developing procedures, and conducting risk assessments. You'll also be involved in onboarding new staff, delivering toolbox talks, and monitoring ongoing training needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and review risk assessments and procedures
- Lead site inspections and compliance reporting
- Support incident investigations and audits
- Manage hygiene and training standards
- Deliver training and competency reviews
- Liaise with other safety officers to share best practices
What You'll Need
- IOSH qualification (required)
- NEBOSH qualification (preferred)
- Experience delivering training (required)
- Internal auditing experience and knowledge of safety regulations (desirable)
- Experience in agriculture or similar environments (a plus)
