Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Training Consultant to deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences to external customers across the UK. This role is primarily focused on virtual training delivery, with occasional onsite training based on customer requirements.
As a Training Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting customer onboarding and enabling clients to maximise the value of their investment in the Wolters Kluwer CCH product suite. Through interactive, hands-on training sessions, you will help customers develop confidence in using our solutions while promoting best practices, efficiency, and compliance.
Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, you will assess learning needs, recommend appropriate training solutions, and contribute to the development of innovative training content across instructor-led and digital learning formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, interactive, and hands-on training sessions across the CCH product suite for both new and existing customers.
- Facilitate virtual instructor-led training (VILT) using platforms such as Microsoft Teams and CloudShare.
- Conduct training needs analyses to identify customer requirements and recommend effective learning solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve training materials for instructor-led and digital learning programmes.
- Support customer onboarding and drive successful product adoption through effective education and knowledge transfer.
- Gather, analyse, and incorporate customer feedback to enhance training content and delivery methods.
- Promote innovative training approaches and stay informed of emerging trends and best practices within the learning and development industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes, drive efficiencies, and support organisational change initiatives.
- Provide timely and accurate updates to Customer Education Managers, Project Managers, and Professional Services teams.
- Deliver internal training sessions and contribute to the ongoing development of colleagues across the business.
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers optimise system usage and improve operational processes.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering training on software applications and systems.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Experience creating and maintaining training materials, guides, and learning resources.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer relationship-building skills.
- Ability to adapt training style and content to meet varying customer needs and learning preferences.
- Confidence managing challenging situations and responding effectively to customer concerns.
- Strong IT literacy and experience using virtual collaboration and communication tools.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Minimum of two years' experience in a training, learning, or customer education role.
- Experience delivering virtual instructor-led training (VILT).
- Knowledge of one or more Wolters Kluwer CCH software applications.
- Experience developing digital learning content and e-learning solutions.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
- Experience using e-learning authoring tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Premier Pro.

Qualifications
- Recognised Training Qualification (e.g., Train the Trainer, TAP, CIPD Learning & Development).
- Qualification in Online Facilitation or Virtual Learning Delivery.
- Industry-specific qualifications or relevant professional experience.
- CCH product knowledge and expertise.
- Digital Learning or Instructional Design qualification.
- Commitment to continuous professional development within Learning & Development.
