12-Month Fixed Term Contract | Hybrid Working
Our client—based in Birmingham—is currently recruiting for a Training Contracts & Apprenticeship Levy Specialist to start as soon as possible.
Role Purpose
To review current suppliers and contracts, ensuring a streamlined and cost-effective approach for the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a list of training suppliers, identifying duplicates or unnecessary contracts while establishing an approved supplier list
- Develop a centralised budgeting process (currently devolved across departments)
- Collate an approved suppliers registry and create a SharePoint page for easy access
- Oversee external supplier relationships, negotiate fees, and ensure value for money (VFM) across existing contracts
- Build strong stakeholder and supplier relationships to ensure smooth contract management
- Monitor and maximise Apprenticeship Levy funding for maximum benefit

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in contract and supplier relationship management
- A diligent, detail-focused approach with a strong emphasis on value for money

Working Arrangements
- 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Hybrid working available
Competitive Salary
- Up to £46,000
