About The Role
We’re looking for a talented Training Coordinator to join our Production team at our Segensworth site. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for supporting Operations in the planning, coordination, and delivery of production training across the site. The role will work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, HSE and HR to ensure employees are appropriately trained, competent and confident to perform their roles safely, effectively and in line with business requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing
Safety, Quality and Compliance
- Proactively support a safety-first, positive and collaborative training culture across Operations
- Ensure production training supports safe working practices, quality standards, environmental requirements and operational procedures
- Work with HSE, Quality and Production teams to ensure training content reflects current risk assessments, standard operating procedures and compliance requirements
- Promote consistent standards of training delivery across production teams and shifts
Production Training Coordination
- Coordinate the delivery of production training across Operations to support onboarding, role progression, cross-training, skills development and operational flexibility
- Work with Production Managers, Team Leaders and subject matter experts to identify training needs
- Support the planning and scheduling of training activities to minimise disruption to production while ensuring timely completion
- Ensure new starters, temporary workers and employees changing roles receive appropriate induction and role-specific training

Training Programme Development and Improvement
- Standardise training materials, including training plans, assessment documents and refresher training
- Review existing training methods and recommend improvements to improve consistency, effectiveness and employee engagement
- Support continuous improvement activities by ensuring training requirements are identified, planned and delivered before process changes are implemented
- Use training data, feedback and assessment outcomes to identify improvement opportunities
Train the Trainer Programme
- Develop and deliver a structured Train the Trainer programme
- Coach internal trainers in effective training delivery, communication, demonstration, questioning and assessment techniques
- Support trainers in creating consistent and effective training materials for their areas
- Monitor the effectiveness of internal trainers and provide feedback, coaching and refresher support
Support for HR and Wider Organisational Training
- Support HR in the coordination and delivery of wider organisational training programmes
- Assist with training needs analysis across departments where required
- Support the development of a consistent organisational approach to training, learning and competence management
- Support company initiatives to reinforce company values and improve employee capability
Other Duties
- Support and drive company initiatives to reinforce Company Values
- Provide training-related reports and updates to Operations, HR and senior management as required
- Maintain confidentiality of employee, training and business information
- Perform other tasks as required

Essential
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in Training, Learning and Development
- Experience in coordinating or delivering training within a manufacturing environment
- Experience coordinating, delivering or supporting training in an manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of production training, skills matrices, competence sign-off and training records
- Ability to develop clear, practical and engaging training materials
- Ability to coach and support trainers, team leaders and subject matter experts
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desirable
- Train the Trainer qualification
- CIPD, Learning and Development, Coaching or equivalent qualification
- Experience developing and implementing Train the Trainer programmes
- Experience implementing training assessments or competence frameworks
- Experience working in an AS9100, ISO 9001 or similarly regulated environment
