🕒 Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week, Term Time Only (45 weeks a year) 📍 Portsmouth 🔐 Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster. You will provide support to the delivery of training across Weapons Engineering Training for the Royal Navy. The purpose of this role is to provide the delivery of Engineering principles and fault diagnostic investigations to Royal Navy students on their Phase 2 career courses.

Job Description:
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering training in maintenance principles and fault-finding techniques of Royal Navy Electronic systems in support of the Royal Navy Weapon Engineering (WE) Department.
- Teaching up to 16 students per class.
- Working collaboratively with Learning & Development and the team of 10 Instructors.
- Supporting with driving continuous improvement and learning.
Essential – Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
- Electrical qualification (Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering would be an advantage) or proven experience in this field.
Desired – Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
- Level 4 teaching certificate or equivalent.
- Understanding of Royal Navy Weapons Engineering.
- Any teaching, instructing, coaching experience would be an advantage.

This role is offered on a term time basis working 45 weeks per year, with non-working weeks taken 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August. The salary will therefore be pro rata’d and calculated to include contractual annual leave entitlement and bank holidays.
