Training Delivery Lead
About ConnectFutures
ConnectFutures exists to help young people stay safe and thrive in a world full of online harms, building resilience to exploitation, hate, extremism, and disinformation through creative, research-led training that reaches classrooms, youth settings, and communities across the UK. This role sits at the operational heart of that mission.
By coordinating training bookings and logistics, supporting facilitators in the field, and keeping scheduling, records, and systems running smoothly, youensure impactful training reaches the young people who need it. It is hands-on and varied work, and every session you help resource is one more step towards equipping young people to navigate the pressures they face online and offline.
ConnectFutures is a Birmingham-based social enterprise that has worked with young people, communities, and practitioners since 2013, with partners including the King’s Trust, MOPAC, and St Giles Trust. We are a small, diverse team that believes challenging subjects can be made engaging and fun, and that real change happens when people come together. You would be joining passionate colleagues who care about the difference they make in a role where the operational work has tangible purpose.
Role Purpose
The Training Delivery Lead holds end-to-end accountability for the operational performance of ConnectFutures' training function. This is a newly created role, established to bring strategic oversight and clear leadership to a growing training function with increased scope and complexity.
The roleholder is the primary decision-maker for both clients and funders, overseeing the entire project lifecycle—from initial enquiries through to funder reporting. Collaborating closely with the Training Delivery Coordinator (day-to-day project coordination) and the Lead Facilitator (trainer management and delivery quality), this role ensures operations are reflective, responsive, and high-performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
